Noble Energy, Inc, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Noble Energy EG Ltd, is developing the Alen Gas Development Prospect, known as "Alen". The Alen Project is a gas condensate field off the east coast of Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea, in 75 meters of water, consisting of subsea wells for gas production and gas reinjection, a manned central facility platform capable of producing condensate from inlet gas, a wellhead platform and subsea pipeline system consisting of three in-field flowlines and an export pipeline. These lines range in depths from 75m to 960m.
Cronus Technology is supplying key individuals to the site fabrication team, including but not limited to, the site manager, quality manager, cost engineer and document controls lead. The fabrication consists of a central production facility at 11,000 tons, a wellhead module at 1,700 tons, two (2) fixed jackets for 75 meters of water depth, a 200 foot bridge, a 300 foot flare boom and several other modules.
Cronus is also supplying the pipeline lead. The work includes oversight of FEED and detailed design of the subsea pipeline system, procurement of rigid and flexible pipe, pipeline route and hazard survey, SURF installation contracting and installation campaign for the infield and export pipeline systems. The infield pipeline system consists of three tie-back flowlines consisting of a combination of flexible and rigid line pipe. The export system consists of a condensate pipeline from the wellhead platform terminating with a flexible riser to an existing FPSO.
