The Jack and St. Malo fields are located in the Walker Ridge Area in the Gulf of Mexico approximately 200 miles south of New Orleans, in water depths averaging approximately 7,000 feet. The planned development is to tie both fields back to a single Floating Production Unit with two (2) different flowlines. Each drill center will be controlled by a single control umbilical and have the unique feature of a subsea multi-phase pump powered by a dedicated power umbilical. CTI engineering and project management personnel have been integrated into Chevron's flowline FEED management team to provide engineering and technical assistance during this detailed design phase of the development.

CTI's responsibilities for this project have included the following to date:

• Provide technical assistance in the development of installation and fabrication specifications
• Provide input to general field layouts and drill center layouts
• Provide assistance in the development of contracting strategies
• Provide assistance in preparation of major offshore installation contract tender documents
• Provide assistance in negotiation and award of the major offshore installation contracts
• Provide assistance in the development of project budgets
• Provide assistance in the development of flowline pre-commissioning strategies
• Provide project cost control services
• Provide contract / project management leadership and support for the following offshore installation scopes
• Flowline installation
• PLET design / fabrication
• Pipe manufacture
• Thermal insulation installation
• Onshore pipe stalk fabrication
• Offshore installation via reel lay vessel
• FPU wet tow and synthetic mooring installation
• Wet tow of the JSM Semisubmersible FPU from Ingleside, TX to the Walker Ridge Area
• Installation of 16 polyester rope / chain mooring lines
• Recovery and hang-off of the oil and gas export pipelines and the four infield flowlines; design and fabrication of a dedicated SCR pull-in equipment system
• Inspection services for various onshore and offshore work centers, including the installation Chief Inspector
