The Jack and St. Malo fields are located in the Walker Ridge Area in the Gulf of Mexico approximately 200 miles south of New Orleans, in water depths averaging approximately 7,000 feet. The planned development is to tie both fields back to a single Floating Production Unit with two (2) different flowlines. Each drill center will be controlled by a single control umbilical and have the unique feature of a subsea multi-phase pump powered by a dedicated power umbilical. CTI engineering and project management personnel have been integrated into Chevron's flowline FEED management team to provide engineering and technical assistance during this detailed design phase of the development.
CTI's responsibilities for this project have included the following to date:
