InterOil
Elk-Antelope Export Condensate Project
Papua New Guinea
The InterOil Elk-Antelope Development Project is located in the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. CTI's scope is to provide engineering, project management, and onsite construction support services to develop a pipeline gathering system to transport produced gas from well locations in the southern highlands of the Gulf Province of PNG to a proposed gas processing facility and an export pipeline system to transport processed gas and condensate to the southern coast to proposed LNG and condensate facilities.

The produced gas gathering system will consist of multiple high pressure well flowlines connected to gathering trunklines serving various areas of the production fields. The unprocessed gas will be transported via the trunklines to the proposed condensate stripping plant (CSP) located in the southern part of the production field. All produced water will be separated and transported via pipeline back to a designated well for reinjection. The export pipeline system consists of a large diameter gas pipeline and a smaller condensate pipeline. The two pipelines will be install parallel to each other between the CSP and the proposed LNG and condensate facilities on the coast, a distance of approximately 115 kilometers.

CTI project management and engineering personnel have been contracted by InterOil and integrated into the team to provide pipeline experience. The tasks and responsibilities for CTI include:
  • Pipeline Routing and FEED level design and drafting
  • Coordinate and manage Seismic Survey and Seismic Engineering activities
  • Cost estimates for the engineering, fabrication, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the pipeline systems
  • Develop a construction methodology plan
  • Develop and issue bid packages for pipe, coating and valves and installation of the pipeline system
  • Develop a schedule for the pipeline phase of the project
  • Provide on-site construction management services for centerline survey and geotechnical investigation
