The Malembo Gas Supply #2 Project consisted of the construction of an 8" gas export pipeline supplying the Malembo Power Station Gas Terminal on the Cabinda coastline in West Africa with fuel gas from the Fox-GIP Processing Platform. The pipeline terminated onshore via a riser on the South Jetty of the Malongo General Facility.

CTI was contracted to provide the following engineering services:

• Detailed pipeline design including:
• Wall thickness calculations
• On-bottom stability, lateral buckling, and upheaval analysis
• Tie-in design
• Spanning mitigation
• Third party pipeline crossing design
• All pipeline design drawings including alignment / profile, field layout, tie-ins, anode, and crossing details
• Technical write-ups and review of specifications for the request for quotation (RFQ) packages for line pipe, pipeline installation contractor, and hazard survey contractor
