Shallow Water Projects

Enterprise
South Marsh Island 205
Gulf of Mexico
The project site lies due south of Marsh Island, LA in SMI Area Block 205, Gulf of Mexico. A new 12" riser was installed on Platform "A" and connected to a new 12"pipeline routed southeast approximately 2000 feet to the Equilon (Auger) 20" pipeline and connected via a subsea tie-in to an existing flange. The tie-in included a check valve and ball valve within the final spool. Another ball valve and blind flange was added on the other side of a tee connection of the tie-in for a future connection. The new pipeline transports oil collected at Platform "A" from multiple upstream sources to the Equilon 20" pipeline.

  • Permitting
  • Procurement of materials
