Viosca Knoll 817 Pipeline System Repair Project
Gulf of Mexico
CTI engineering and construction management personnel assisted Enterprise with reconnaissance survey, damage assessment, and the planning and execution of the necessary repair of all Enterprise owned Gulf of Mexico pipelines and platforms due to the passage of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita in 2005.

Work performed by CTI project management and construction personnel included the overall management of the fabrication and installation of a replacement Medusa 12" riser and associated tie-in spools for the South Pass Block 55 Platform. Work also included overall management of the production of bid packages for the procurement of pipe and offshore pipeline installation services, bid evaluation, purchasing, pipeline component design, and permitting for the required re-route of a fifteen (15) mile section of the Viosca Knoll 817 pipeline system.
