Freeport McMoRan Oil and Gas – Holstein Deep Tie-Back Project

The Holstein Deep Tie-Back Project consists of dual production flowlines and risers, jumpers, and umbilicals for a proposed subsea production manifold (three wells and one future well) in Block 643 – Green Canyon tied back to the (existing) Holstein SPAR in Block 645 – Green Canyon.

The work scope included project management, project controls, interface management, FEED, drafting services, materials management, and construction management. Major engineering elements included production and umbilical routing, flexible production risers and flowlines (by others), preliminary flowline design options, umbilical lines, and well and flowline jumpers.

CTI performed the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for the well and flowline jumpers and routing of the dual production flowlines with engineering and project management responsibilities for this project, including the following:

  • Provided Project Management and Project Controls Support
  • Performed Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) Including:
    • Preliminary Mechanical Design Report
    • Design report Well Jumpers, Flowline Jumpers, Cathodic Protection
    • Geotechnical analysis
    • Production Flowline and Umbilical Route Selection
    • Preparation of the Basis of Design and Final FEED Report
    • Field Architecture for Flowlines, Jumpers, Umbilicals, and Subsea Structures
